Nara Lokesh questions YS Jagan on Bapatla Meeting

Nara Lokesh questions YS Jagan on Bapatla Meeting:- Nara Lokesh, the general secretary of the Telugu Desam Party, expressed on Monday that Andhra Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is feeling uneasy after the formation of an alliance between TDP, Jana Sena Party, and BJP for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and assembly polls in the state. Lokesh pointed out that when TDP and BJP formed the government in 2014, there were no incidents of attacks on Muslims, emphasizing that their government worked towards the welfare of minorities in Andhra Pradesh, according to a press release.

Lokesh stated that the TDP-led government provided gifts for Ramadan and allocated funds for painting mosques. They also provided an honorarium for Imams and allocated funds for minorities through the Dulhan scheme. Lokesh alleged that there has been a significant increase in attacks on minorities since Jagan Reddy came into power. Lokesh referred to the suicides of Abdul Salam and his family, as well as a girl named Misbhah in the Palamaner constituency. He also highlighted an incident where a minority leader named Ibrahim was allegedly killed by the YSRCP when he fought for minority lands in Narasaraopeta. Lokesh urged minorities not to trust Jagan Mohan Reddy and mentioned that TDP had nominated three members from the minority community to the Rajya Sabha.

In his Siddham gatherings, Jagan Mohan Reddy has been engaging in the deceptive use of green mats and graphics. On Sunday, he expressed his readiness to confront the alliance and accused Chandrababu Naidu of relying on support from other political parties, stating that his cycle is "rusted". Looking ahead to the upcoming elections, Jagan Mohan Reddy affirmed that the YSRCP will support and stand with the weaker sections of society. It is notable that the Lok Sabha and assembly polls will be conducted simultaneously in Andhra Pradesh.
