A woman teacher stabbed 51-year-old Bihar BJP MLA Raj Kishore Kesri to death at his home in Purnia town today alleging he had raped her for over three years repeatedly. The BJP called it a conspiracy and demanded a CBI probe into the murder.

The teacher Rupam Pathak suddenly appeared at his house, whipped out a knife and stabbed him repeatedly to death in the presence of several people and to the utter shock of his security guards present there. Kesri was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

A police officer said later that the school teacher had last year accused Kesri of raping her and lodged a criminal case against him but the case made no progress. Enraged at the delay of the case, she seems to have decided to kill him, police said. She was arrested and taken to a police station.
