Nature has not yet relaxed its ire on Japan. 17 days after the north east areas of Japan were hit by a powerful earthquake and tsunami killing more than 30,000 people, destroying lakhs of houses and crippling its nuclear plants spreading radiation over the country, an earthquake of a magnitude of 6.5 rocked the country’s northeastern parts today.
Japanese authorities issued a 50-centimetre tsunami warning for the Pacific coast which was rocked by the earthquake and tsunami on March 11.
Fortunately, no loss of life or property was reported from the today’s earthquake. The Japanese people however fear another tsunami threat after the authorities issued a fresh warning for tsunami this morning.
