Yoga guru Baba Ram Dev was discharged today from the Himalayan Institution of Medical Sciences after doctors had satisfactorily decided that he was fit to resume his normal activity.

Ram Dev, who went on his fast even in the hospital, withdrew it after spiritual guru and Art of Living Founder Sri Ravi Sankar called on him two days ago and requested him to give up his fast.

Speaking after his discharge, Ram Dev said that he would not give up his fight against corruption and black money. Expressing gratitude to all those who extended support to his fasting programme, Ram Dev said he would never forget the shabby treatment meted out to him and his supporters by the police at the Ram Lila grounds in Delhi.
