The security forces have identified the owner of the scooter in which bombs were placed resulting in one of the serial explosions that took place in Mumbai Wednesday evening. It might be mentioned that more than 20 persons were killed and 130 people injured when three bombs exploded in different places in Mumbai two days ago.

Union Home Secretary R. K. Singh told media persons in Delhi this afternoon that experts are also examining an email that was traced to another country which may show up links to cross border terrorism.

He said investigators are questioning several people based on their past record and 11 CDs were readied based on the footage from CCTV cameras. “The faces in the CDs are being examined and the officials are trying to differentiate between locals and non-locals through the footage.  “It is taking lot of time as the work is tedious and voluminous,” he said.

Singh said people not recognized by the locals and suspicious people are being interrogated but the investigators have not yet zeroed in on any one.
