Rajya Sabha members, Jaya Bachchan and Rekha were in recent discussion over their seating arrangements in the Upper House.

The Samajwadi Party MP, Kiranmoy Nanda (seat number 143)  requested to shift her place to be along with her other party members.

The Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, Rajeev Shukla, is yet to finalize the seating arrangement for the nominated members.

Initially, Jaya was allotted seat number 91 along with party colleague Brij Bhushan Tiwari. But, he demised on the other day after he took oath as a member of the Rajya Sabha.

Jaya requested for a change of seat, which the Rajaya Sabha secretariat has agreed to do so.

After Sachin Tendulkar’s nomination to the Rajya Sabha, the tentative seating arrangements announced were 98 for Rekha and 99 for Sachin.

Seat number 103 is also allotted for nominated member.

Few days back, Amitabh Bachchan expressed his willingness to work with Rekha, the on-screen and off-screen lover.
Jaya and rekha acted together in films like Do Anjaane (1976), Muqaddar Ka Sikander (1978), Mr Natwarlal (1979), Suhaag (1979) and Silsila (1981), where Rekha played the other women. (msn)
