The former Army Chief Gen V K Singh got defamation summons from a Delhi court on Friday. The defamation case was filed by Lt. Gen (retd) Tejinder Singh. The complainant pleaded the court to initiate proceedings against V K Singh for making libelous statements (defamation in the form of printed words). It may be noted that V K Singh alleged that Tejinder Singh took bribery.
The complainant has also mentioned another four names accusing them for misusing the power and leveling false allegations against him. V K Singh and four others who will receive the summons should appear before the court on July 20.
