Self sytled godman Nithyananda Swamy devotees are claiming that their guru was not absconding. They made these statements after the Karnataka government launched a man-hunt to nab this person who had been facing serious sexual abuse and rape allegations. The moment a US based woman gave an interview to a Kannada channel on Monday as to how she had been allegedly taken for a ride by Nithyananda, the Karnataka chief minister called in police officials for a meeting. After the meeting, the CM told Nithyananda Swamy would be arrested in another two days.

Notably, the police already took Bidadi ashram in Ramnagar district near Bangalore into their control, the operation to catch hold the so called god man is underway. Earlier, Nithyananda faced serious criminal allegations of sexual assualt and rape and was arrested. He was, later, released on bail.

As long as people don't understand the true meaning of religion and God, many such Nithyananda's and other babas keep popping up under the guise of gurus.
