A 25-year-old man allegedly attacked his wife with a sickle on court premises for seeking divorce. The incident, which took place on Friday at Barasat Court in suburb of Kolkata, has shocked the group of lawyers who reportedly freezed looking at the horrifying act. The victim was rushed to hospital. She's battling betweeen life and death. According to the police, attacker Prasanjit Majhi married 22-year-old Jayanti 15 months ago. It was a love marriage, said police. The couple applied for mutual divorce in April and this was the first time the came face-to-face after applying for divorce.
