Monsoons in Mumbai have always been nightmares for the locals. There wouldnt't be at least a single person left in Mumbai if they could affort a a trip elsewhere with the bumpy roads, countless pot holes, never ending traffic jams, collapsing trees and sometimes even buildings. But most of the Mumbaikars cannot afford to do that while the fortuitous ones who do this are the officials who are supposed to lend a helping hand in solving these everyday issues.

Though the damage inflicted being on the rise with every episode of rain, however minor it may be, no measures are being put into effect to prevent further damage. Mayor and all the senior corporators are having merry time in Singapore in a study tour trying to learn about landfill and water management.
The BMC which had never taken up any plastic bans to day mysteriously is involved in discussions of disposal of non-recyclable wastes and reduction of green house gas emissions. These actions put the local residents in a dilemma: “Is this how Mumbai would be governed?”?
