On Tuesday evening a massive fire broke out at a factory that refines oil at Dankuni. Dankuni is a small suburb outside Kolkata, 22 km from it, in Hooghly District.

Soon after the mishap was reported, 14 fire engines arrived within minutes to tackle the internal flames rising from the factory. After 4 very long and tiring hours, the firemen had managed to supress the fire completely.

No casualities have been observed yet. What cause the fatory to burst into flames is still to be investigated.
