 Kidnapped Mumbai girl reaches home safely

Sangita, the three year old girl who was kidnapped a  few days ago at the Mumbai CST station, has returned home safely on Wednesday. The kidnapping was recorded on CCTV and was circulated by the police as a measure to identity the kidnapper and retrieve the girl. The girl was rescued and brought back home from Haridwar after arresting the kidnapper.

Locals in Haridwar were alerted by numerous news channels that repeatedly showed the news on TV.

In the CCTV footage, a man walked after alighting from a train and sits beside the girl with her parents in the premises. Noticing that the parents were oblivious of his presence he silently took the girl away while the parents were sleeping. He also looked around to ensure that he wasn't being observed by anybody.
After this incident a search in Haridwar was begun when the Mumbai Police notified the Haridwar police of the girl's presence in the city
