A tempo driver's negligence has claimed two lives in Mumbai on Tuesday night. If we look into the details, a tempo driver went on a rampage and hit three persons-two pedestrians and one car owner who was loading crate of eggs in his sedan car.

The accused-at around 10 pm on Tuesday-lost the control of his tempo after he reached Cardinal Gracious road in Chakala area of Andheri (East). His rampage first took the life of 52-year-old Hamza Nalwala while he was busy loading eggs in his parked car. The police said that Nalwala was dragged fur long making him die on the spot. The tempo then hit a 22-year-old pedestrian, Bhupendra Chavan who also lost his life in the accident. The another person, who was walking on footpath, received a jolt from behind. Rajesh Yadav, who is 33, the third person to get hit by the truck is now battling with life and death at a private hospital.

The city police have booked a case against the tempo driver. The police reportedly said that tempo driver gave a lame excuse that he experience chest pain and lost his consciousness and hit the three persons. Whatever might be the reason, the lost lives cannot be brought back. A few seconds of negligence turned fatal to the three innocent persons.
