A woman had lodged an FIR stating that she was raped by the personnel of the Police department in Khadda, Uttar Pradesh.

According to the complaint that she had lodged she was gang-raped in the police station's premises on Monday. A Vijay Verma who lived in the same village as the woman was taken to the police station with the pretense of providing her with a job but was later forcibly asked to consume liquor following which many policemen had allegedly raped her in a room.

The Circle Inspector, Vinod Kumar has said that an FIR had been launched on Verma and the Sub-Inspector of the police station, Virendra Kumar, The woman would be taken for a medical examination today.
