A Botswana national ended up behind the bars for allegedly selling cocaine in Bangalore. The Central Crime Station police, who arrested 26-year-old Raymond David, said that the accused had been selling cocaine (narcotic drug) to his customers in Ramamurthy Nagar in the city. The police officers have also said that Raymond usually charges Rs. 7000 for a gram of cocaine. They even mentioned that cocaine price in Bengaluru market was Rs. 4000. Raymond had a huge network, added police. They said his customers include girl students, IT employees and business magnates.
Raymond David, according to the police, arrived in Delhi in 2011 where he had set up a garment store. After facing losses in that business, David shifted to drug peddling. He shifted to Bangalore and started peddling here. The police said his target was people from affluent societies. They said code words were used by Raymond for Cocaine such as C or coke or Charlie.
