GATE enrollment has been opened beginning this month, September. The applications online would be open until the 30th of the month while hard copies of the applications can be sent until October 8th 2012.
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all India examination for undergraduates in engineering and technology which is conducted by the GATE National Coordination Board. The seven IITs and the Bangalore-based Indian Institute of Science (IISc) constitute the GATE National Coordination Board.
GATE score are valid for admission to several of the post-graduate programs including ME, MTech, direct PhD and also make you eligible for financial assistance provided by the Centre and other agencies.
The GATE 2013 online examinations will be held on January 20, 2013 and the Offline examinations will be held on February 10, 2013. Results will be out on March 15, 2013.
