A railway special force office and an accomplice had reportedly indulged in the gang rape of a 20 year old girl on the night of Tuesday in the VIP waiting room in the world class New Delhi Railway Station.

The constable was identified as Pintu Singh, 24, and his accomplice was Hawan Pratap Singh, 21. Both of them were arrested and a FIR was filed. According to the police, the victim had arrived at the station with her younger sister.

The victim was raped when her she and her younger sister had arrived at the station. The younger sister set off in search of Locker rooms while Hawan and Pintu pounced at the chance. They talked to the 20 year old and guided her to wait in the VIP waiting room, no 201, which was on the second floor. Soon after they committed the crime.

The DCP for Crime and Railways, Sanjay Jain, said that they had arrested the RPSF constable after the charges were proved by the medical test of the victim who had registered a complaint after the incident happened. The police are also investigating on Hawan who allegedly knows the victim. However it was not confirmed yet.
