Lindsay Lohan has made it to the headlines again for a similar reason again. She has been ticketed for a traffic offense of clipping a pedestrian on the road while driving in New York City. Making matters worse she had not stopped her car and fled from the scene.
The accident occurred in a small alley between the Maritime Hotel and the Dream Hotel.
She was later arrested at 2:25 in the morning on Wednesday after she had left a nightclub in the Dream Hotel in Lower Manhattan's 16th Street. Police have confirmed that she was not inebriated at that time.
Lindsay Lohan was charged with leaving the scene of an accident and causing injury. After being ticketed for the same she might have to appear in court later.
Police mentioned that she was driving slowly yet carelessly as the accident happened.
The victim called 911 after which he had received treatment at a hospital for a knee injury and release immediately.
