A few days ago, magician and illusionist David Blaine has provided tid-bits from his upcoming performance in the program "Electrified". He displayed the shocking feat for the media and as a teaser for the crowd awaiting the feat that would span three days over the weekend in New York City on October 2. As he earlier told the press he would, on Oct 5, 2012, stand on a 20 foot high pedestal, donning a metal suit on the edge of River Hudson and be the conduit for over a million Volts of electricity that would pass through him from the metal orbs overhead.
These Tesla coils transmit the electricity for three days and nights straight. The event is all set to take place at New York City's Pier 54 today. The stage is being set for this mega event as David Blain prepares himself mentally and physically.
David blaine earlier has achieved several other seemingly impossible feats. He has stayed in a water orb without food and water for days, stood a top a tall tower with nothing to eat, got himself struck in ice in his daredevil feats earlier. But with this feat he has taken the voltage up another notch, to the millionth notch to be precise. This could be the deadliest feat he has ever attempted.
