Anti corruption activist and social worker Arvind Kejriwal, who was arrested along with his protesters on Friday evening after they staged a protest in front of the residence of prime minister Manmohan Singh, was released on Saturday afternoon from the make out jail on the outskirts of Delhi. All of his supporters too were released.

Kejriwal staged this protest demanding action against the law minister Salman Khurshid alleging his involvement in the irregularities in functioning of an NGO run by his wife Louis. Law minister and his wife, however, refuted the allegations. On the other hand, Kejriwal has said that he would continue to protest until Khurshid tenders his resignation to the law ministry.
