Jealousy can commonly be seen among women and girls and what ensues would be a cold war of the highest order. This could mentally bear a negative impact but is not very grave usually. Though relatively very rare, jealousy among men is not a bright picture. The damage could be extremely physical which may go as far as biting one's nose off.
Townsville Bulletin mentioned one such event that happened recently. Reginald Edward Winston Bligh the ex-boyfriend of Wendy Sore still had feelings for her. He sneaked into her house in the wee hours of November last year only to face the harsh reality that she was sleeping with another boyfriend.
Hosea Murphy, the unfortunate victim of the jealous rage of Bligh, was unsuspectingly asleep in the bed along with Sore. Bligh madly swung around Murphy and in the fit of rage bit the tip of his nose off the face.
The victim tried to appease the mad assailant but the frenzied 23 year old already was on the run.
Bligh, who was a father of two kids was jailed for three years after he pleaded guilty to burglary and assault that resulted in bodily harm at the District Court. So much for jealousy.
