The World's warrior against Apartheid and president of South Africa, Nelson Mandela has been admitted to the hospital for tests on Saturday after he experienced another bout of the lung infection but the doctors said he was responding to the treatments now, on Tuesday.
"Doctors have concluded the tests, and these have revealed a recurrence of a previous lung infection, for which Madiba (Mandela's clan name) is receiving appropriate treatment and he is responding to the treatment," a statement mentioned.
The highly respected 94 year old leader of South Africa who fought against racial discrimination has been in the hospital for the fourth day in a row at a hospital in Pretoria, South Africa. He was flown to the hospital from his hometown, Qunu, a rural and distant part of Eastern Cape.
