The "GAME of Blaming."

The "GAME of Blaming."

The Supreme Court today said "there is no safety in Delhi" and that judges are "concerned about providing a safe environment for women to live with dignity." That's indeed a great thing to hear! But does it really confirm safety? The remarks were made as the court asked the government to respond to a request that asks for the licence of a chartered bus to be cancelled if it violates any traffic law or provision of the Motor Vehicles Act.

The matter of fact remains that already so much of nuisance and moral filth have taken birth in our nation and still prevalent. Therefore, it will not be that easy to sweep them off, if the government and the law both comes up with a strong element of punishment for the culprits, setting it as an example for future culprits to join the lot. That, if you do crime then you have to die a painful death!

Last month, gang-raped of the medical student was on a moving chartered bus at night in Delhi, the uncivilized factor of which has forced a national discourse on the vulnerability of women in public spaces in Delhi and the multitude of lapses by the police that allowed the horrific crime. While also the bus that Amanat (NOT her real name) boarded with her friend was run by a private operator, who had furnished forged documents for its registration has been arrested. Even though, the bus passed through a series of police checkpoints without being pulled over as the student was being attacked within while having tinted windows and curtains, which is illegal in the Capital.

Therefore, more than blaming Delhi as a single unit, we must blame the whole lot, because knowingly or unknowingly we are actually playing "The GAME of Blaming each other." The culprits just needs a painful death than a mere blame!
