Sentiment to Cut Popularity? Rahul flayed

BJP senior leader Venkaiah Naidu criticized Rahul Gandhi today at Hyderabad for Rahul's emotional speech at Churu yesterday.

Rahul Gandhi said that his Grandmother was killed and his father was killed and he too may be killed. Venkaiah Naidu says that it shows the despair and frustration of the Congress Party.  He said, “They are not able to digest the growing popularity of Narendra Modi.  So, they are trying to spread misinformation.”

Venkaiah Naidu said further that taking the past issues to front to gain sympathy also shows that they do not have any answers for the problems at present faced by the country.

Venkaiah Naidu said “It also shows that they have no explanation to their failures and that they lack the ability to take on the development agenda being put forward by NDA, BJP and Narendra Modi. Above all, they lack a strong and dynamic leadership.  They are trying to gain sympathy by saying that Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi were killed.”

Venkaiah Naidu also questioned “The basic question is who created this atmosphere, which has given birth and growth to divisive, sectarian and fissiparous tendencies thereby giving rise to terrorists and extremist elements? Undoubtedly, it is the Congress and the Congress alone.”

But in fact Rahul Gandhi said yesterday that BJP is spreading hate for political gains that may one day kill him too as his father and grandmother were killed.  But, he added, he is not bothered.
