The Telangana Bill is likely to be placed before the special Cabinet meeting later today for its approval. The Congress party is leaving no stone to make sure T-Bill passes smoothly in Parliament and to tackle the main opposition party in the house, one of the GoM member Jairam Ramesh held discussions with BJP senior leader Venkaiah Naidu to take their opinions and suggestions on the bill. The meeting was held yesterday night and lasted for more than hour. According to the directions of Sonia Gandhi, Jairam met Mr. Naidu said the party sources.
BJP has given written format of amendments to be made in the bill and Jairam Ramesh took them to the notice of Sonia Gandhi. The Congress President too gave a nod for these changes and looks like their won't be any problem for the cabinet meeting today. As Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde gave notice the Rajya Sabha speaker for tabling the T-Bill on 10th of this month, Congress is firm to bring it on the given date.
