Employees differ with politicians on strike

SwamyGoudIndicating the emergence of differences between the JAC leaders of the employees’ associations and the leaders of the political JAC on the ongoing mass general strike aimed at achieving separate state of Telangana, Mr Swami Goud, Chairman of the JAC of employees’ associations expressed dismay that the mass general strike has turned into employees’ strike.

Speaking to media persons in Hyderabad, Swami Goud said the strike has only resulted in suffering to the Telangana employees.

“The strike has brought about a loss of Rs.750 Cr to the employees,” he said, adding that employees would lose jobs if the police register non-bailable cases against them.

Criticizing the political leaders, Swami Goud said that the political leaders are attending the programmes of agitation for name sake in the morning hours and are looking after their businesses in the evening hours.

“The politicians are not losing any thing because of the strike and it is only the employees who are suffering,” he said.

Mr Swami Goud further said that the JAC leaders of the employees would attend the talks tomorrow with the cabinet sub committee.
