Mr. Venkata reddy, owner of the news portal greatandhra.com, was today arrested by Hyderabad Cyber crime police in Bangalore.

The arrest follows a complaint by Congress MP Madhu Yashki Goud about an article published on the website a few months ago.

Mr Goud in his complaint to the police said that the portal published a false story about his personal life. Since then the Hyderabad cyber police are on the look out for him.

It might be said that the said news portal is notorious for writing obscene articles against celebrities, prominent personalities and VIPs based on the owner's whims and fancies.
