PRP MLAs said today that they are ready to take any posts offered to them in the congress party or government but there won’t be any problem even if they are not offered any posts by the congress leadership.

Speaking to media persons at the Shamshabad airport after extending a warm welcome to their leader Chiranjeevi who returned to Hyderabad this evening after announcing the merger of his party with congress in Delhi on Sunday, the MLAs welcomed the merger and said congress will clean sweep the 2014 elections in the state.

15 MLAs of the PRP turned up at the airport to receive Chiru along with hundreds of congress activists. “The issue of Telangana is under the active consideration of congress leadership and the central government. Like our leader, we will also abide by the party’s decision and that of the government,” Anil Kumar, PRP MLA of the Telangana region said.

“Chiranjeevi will achieve his aims through the congress party. He has withstood lot of criticism all these days. The strength of our leader is his clean image and crowd pulling capacity,” said B. Satyananda rao, another MLA of the PRP.
