17-year old Mulka Abhinandana, a second year student of Fine Arts graduation, has designed and made a saree studded with Navaratnas (nine gems representing the nine planets) to give away as a wedding gift to the couple Jr. NTR and his bride Lakshim Pranathy who are getting married on May 5.Mulka, daughter of one Golden Raju of Himayatnagar of Hyderabad, is an ardent fan of Jr. NTR and has worked for two months to prepare this saree worth Rs.15 lakh.
Displaying this stunning 2-kg saree at a media conference in Hyderabad today, Mulka said that she wanted to have a career in jewellery designing and worked hard to prepare this gift with a strong will. “I am an ardent fan of Jr.NTR and I want to present this to Lakshmi Pranathy for their wedding,” she said proudly.
Explaining that the art of jewellery designing has come to her as a hereditary skill, Mulka said her aim is to get name and fame as national and international jewellery designer in future.
