Raising curtains to a fresh controversy involving the Satya Sai Central Trust, Sakshi Telugu TV channel said today that the glass casket (freezer), in which the body of God-man Sri Satya Sai Baba was kept in state for three days after he breathed his last, was ordered as far back as April 4 to a firm in Coimbatore.
Making the stunning disclosure, the channel said that the freezer was dispatched to the Satya Sai Central Trust in Puttaparthy by the firm Kumar and Co in Coimbatore on April 5.
The channel claimed it has documents in its possession to prove this assertion. “We have the Email order copy for the freezer and the copy of the receipt sent by the firm Kumar and Co,” said the channel.
If what the channel has said turns out to be true, it could land the Trust in serious trouble as questions are bound to arise on how it could order the glass casket 20 days in advance of the death of the spiritual master.
