Goldsmiths from Vijayawada,wishing for the success of the Indian team at the ongoing World Cup, have come out with a unique way of showcasing their art.  A Goldsmith from the city, namely, Mr.Trinath has carved out a lovely logo symbolizing the World Cup, using 200 mg gold.  Carrying similar enthusiasm,  he dished out the Cricket stadium, weighing 300 mg gold.

There is yet another Goldsmith, Mr.Suresh, who has equally surprised every one in the city embodying  the mini world cup logo using mere 120 mg of gold.

Both the artisans said that the  gold replicas will be gifted to the Indian cricket team captain, MS Dhoni and the No.1 batsman in the world, Sachin Tendulkar.
