Chiranjeevi's entry will spell doom for Cong:Shivashanker

Former Union Minister for Law, P Shivashanker has observed that PRP chief Chiranjeevi Party's proposed Chiranjeevi, Congress Party, Shivashanker, PRP, N.Kirankumar Reddy, 2008, CM, Kesava Rao, Hanumantha Rao, mergermerger with the Congress Party will weaken the latter. Addressing the media at Hyderabad yesterday, the former PRP leader viewed that the actor-turned-politician lacks political acumen and stature to make it to office of Chief Minister. When compared to the likes V.H.Hanumantha Rao and K.Kesava Rao, the PRP chief is a miniscule factor among the Kapu community, said Shivashanker. The Congres Party has rather elevated the status of PRP by inviting Chiranjeevi into its fold, said P.Shivashanker. There is a possibility of the Congress Party leaders quitting the party opposing the entry of Chiranjeevi's into their party, feels the former minister.

He repented the fact he was a member of the PRP for some time. In deference of the wishes of his son did he joind the PRP in 2008, clarified P.Shivashanker. Everybody knew how unethical the PRP was when it gave away assembly tickets to people who offered money. It may be recalled that the ex union minister came out of the PRP in protest against the ticket allotment in the 2009 assembly elections. To a question, he said that he is very much in the Congress Party. Besides, he found fault with the Congress Party's central leadership to pick N.Kirankumar Reddy as the CM of the state.
