Seema Andhra TDP stalls assembly again

Seema Andhra TDP MLAs, United AP slogans, stalling of assembly proceedings TDP MLAs from the Seema Andhra region disturbed the assembly proceedings for the second consecutive day today by raising slogans against any possible division of the state. Holding placards and raising pro-united AP slogans, the TDP MLAs stormed into the Speaker’s podium repeatedly and forced the Chair to adjourn the house twice, each time for half an hour.

Despite repeated appeals by the chief minister Kirankumar reddy, Legislative affairs minister Sridhar babu, finance minister Ramnarayana reddy and government chief whip Mr Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, the TDP MLAs continued their din in the house not allowing the chair to conduct any business.

Deputy Speaker Nadendla Manohar also requested the MLAs repeatedly to allow him to run the house smoothly but the repeated appeals fell on deaf ears.

The agitating TDP members, raising slogans of ‘Telugu jaati manadi, ninduga velugu jaati manadi’, a lyric from the super hit film ‘Talla Pellama’of the late legendary hero NTR, continued to stall the proceedings of the house.
