Gutta, Kavuri avoid physical fight

Seema Andhra congress MP Kavuri Sambasiva rao, Telangana congress MP Gutta Sukhender reddy, the issue of TelanganaParliament central hall today witnessed fierce arguments between Seema Andhra congress MP Kavuri Sambasiva rao and Telangana congress MP Gutta Sukhender reddy over the issue of Telangana.

Both of them bumped into each other in the central hall of parliament after Speaker Mira Kumar adjourned the House due to Telangana ruckus. Reacting to the remarks of Kavuri Sambasiva rao Wednesday evening that the T congress leaders can’t stick to their resignations even for ten minutes, Sukhender reddy took out his resignation letter, signed it and asked Kavuri to resign. “If you are ready with resignation, I am also ready with my resignation and we will seek reelection again,” he told Kavuri handing over the resignation letter to him.

Kavuri, collecting the letter and throwing it away, told him: “Why should I resign? There was no need for me to resign.”

Meanwhile, the T congress MPs rallied behind Sukhender reddy and the Seema Andhra congress MPs sided with Kavuri resulting in heated arguments between both groups. According to sources, both groups hurled personal accusations against each other.

Later, it came to light that the T congress MPs have complained to the Union Minister and congress general secretary in charge of AP affairs Mr Veerappa Moily on the statement of Sambasiva rao. In turn, Sambasiva rao has sought the appointment of party trouble shooter and senior leader Pranab Mukherjee and Ahmad Patel, political secretary to party president Sonia Gandhi.
