Deputy Chief Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha claimed in Delhi today that the congress high command is seriously working on the Telangana issue and an announcement will be made soon on it.

 

Addressing a media conference after extensive discussions with Ghulam Nabi Azad, Union Minister and in-charge of the congress affairs in AP, Mr Rajanarasimha said that there was no mention of Telangana Development Board in his discussions with Azad.

 

“We will however abide by the decision of the high command, whatever it is,” he added. The Deputy Chief Minister said that the government will soon find solution to the 14 F issue also. “I   had discussed several issues with Azad including the 14 F and Azad promised me that it would be solved soon,” he said.

 

Rajanarasimha also met the Deputy Minister for Railways Mr Muniyappa and requested him to complete the railway line from Patancheru to Akkannapet via Sangareddy and Jogi pet soon.
