Endowments Minister Jupally Krishna Rao’s resignation has been accepted by the Governor ESL Narashimhan today.
Jupally, who is on a Telangana Padayatra in Mahaboobnagar district demanding separates state of Telangana, submitted his resignation on Tuesday to Narasimhan with a request to accept it.
Chief Minister Kirankumar Reddy met the governor this morning and advised him to accept the resignation. Raja Bhavan later issued a statement in the evening saying that the governor had accepted the minister’s resignation.
Jupally had actually quit his job in March for undertaking the Padayatra but the chief minister did not accept the resignation. Jupally will now take up the Yatra with utmost seriousness.
