Declaring a 3-day mourning for the death of the Telangana ideologue Prof. Jayashankar, JAC convener Prof. Kodanda Ram today asked the Telangana people to conduct programmes to remember the services of Jayashankar to the cause of Telangana. Speaking at a media conference in Hyderabad, he asked T people not to do anything for three days except for mourning the death of Jayashankar. “Please conduct only mourning programmes such as processions bearing candles and meetings to remember the services of Jayashankar for three days continously,” he asked the Telangana people.
Earlier, Kodanda Ram returned from Warangal where he along with TRS chief KCR paid rich tributes to the mortal remains of Jayashankar at Ekasila Park.
