4 devotees including two children were injured, one of them seriously, when a speeding Tata Sumo vehicle lost control and barged into a group of pilgrims on the lower ghat road in the Tirumala Hills this morning when they were going to the Lord Balaji temple on foot path.
Police and TTD officials had rushed to the spot and took them to the Ruia hospital where condition of one of the injured was stated to be critical.
All the injured persons were from Rajahmundry in the East Godavari district, police said adding that they were all trekking the hills to have darshan of the Lord.
