KCR: Conspiracy behind RTC strike call off

KCRTRS Chief Mr K. Chandrasekhara Rao described the NMU’s decision to call off the RTC strike as a conspiracy hatched out by the NMU leader Mr Mehmood and transport minister Botsa Satyanarayana.

Speaking to media persons in Adilabad where he arrived on a one day tour of the district this morning, KCR said that Telangana NMU would be formed in the Telangana region of the APSRTC to intensify the agitation, if necessary.

Assuring that all employees who participated in the strike would be paid salaries along with interest and bonus for the strike period, KCR asked the striking employees not to bother about their salaries.

Reiterating his demand that Hyderabad must be made part of Telangana state, KCR ruled out agreeing to Hyderabad being made a Union Territory for the division of the state. “We want a Telangana state that existed before Oct 31, 1956,” he said.
