Minor irrigation minister TG Venkatesh said in New Delhi today that he and other Seema Andhra congress leaders had come to Delhi seeking a solution to the Telangana issue and would go back to Hyderabad with some sort of solution.
Speaking to media persons after their meetings with Prime Minister and other Union Ministers, Venkatesh said they had requested the central leaders to find an amicable solution to the issue quickly through discussions so that people of the state would live in peace.
“The Prime Minister assured us that the Centre and the party high command had understood the emotions of the people of all areas in the state and would take a decision keeping all of them in mind,” he said.
Minister Sailajanath, who was also part of the delegation, disclosed that they had requested the PM to implement the 6th option given by the Sri Krishna Committee in its report on Telangana.
