A woman, who lost her husband after hearing about the sudden death of the then chief minister YSR in the helicopter crash in 2009, has bluntly turned down the help of the YSR Congress chief Mr YS Jaganmohan reddy through his Odarpu Yatra.
Ms. G. Rajamma’s husband and staunch congress supporter G. Srinivasulu of Budhavarapeta in Atmakur Mandalam of Kurnool district died of heart attack after hearing that YSR was killed in the helicopter crash.
Later, the minister for minor irrigation, Mr T.G. Venkatesh, provided monetary help to the family following the incident.
“There was no need for Jagan now to console my family as the Minister Venkatesh has already done that and helped me financially. I would have certainly accepted the consoling and help from Jagan if he had continued as a congress leader.
The rejection of Jagan’s financial help by the woman has become a hot topic of discussion now in the Mandal.
