The AP high court today adjourned till tomorrow the hearing of the case of YSR Congress president YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s alleged illegal wealth.
The division bench consisting of the Chief Justice Nissar Ahamad Kakru and Justice VA Purkar said it would hear the case on Thursday. Earlier, arguments and counter arguments in the case were concluded by the counsel of the respective parties.
The court on Tuesday declined to direct the state government to come out with its stand on petitions seeking a CBI probe into alleged amassing of wealth by Jagan. The petitions were filed by Minister Shankar Rao and TDP leader Yerram Naidu.
Senior lawyer Mr K.T.S. Tulsi, arguing on behalf of Jagan, requested the court to ask the state government to reveal its stand on the petitions as the petitioner was a minister in the present cabinet.
