The Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS) has been vertically split into two today with a section of the leaders led by Mr Botla Bishapathi forming a new outfit called Telangana MRPS.

Speaking to newspersons after the formation of the new organization in Hyderabad, Mr Bishapathi said that their flag would be that of Telangana and their agenda the classification of SCs. He said that they would fight for the Telangana state and extend full support to the mass general strike.

I have no plots or villas in Emaar: Harish Rao

TRS leader Harish Rao denied reports in a section of the media that he owned plots and villas in the controversial Emaar Properties estates in Hyderabad. “The reports are not true,” he told journalists in Hyderabad.

Reacting to the demand of the Telangana TDP Forum that no political party should file nominations for the Banswada by election, he said he was ready to accept the demand if the TDP MLAs resign and ensure that their resignations accepted.
