Congress MP and former Indian cricket captain Mr Azharuddin arrived in Hyderabad early this morning from London by a special flight and straightaway went to the Apollo Hospitals at Jubilee Hills to take a look at his son Mr Ayazuddin who has been battling for life after severely injuring himself in an illegal motorcycle race.
Mr Ayazuddin’s condition remained critical even today as per the medical bulletin released by the doctors.
Ayazuddin’s mother and Azhar’s first wife Ms Naureen also visited the hospital and inquired about the condition of her son.
Mr Ayazuddin fell down from his 1000 CC sports motor bike at the Puppalaguda Toll gate near Rajendranagar on the outskirts of Hyderabad while he was participating in an unofficial motor cycle race. He sustained serious injuries on his body and is being treated in the Apollo Hospital by a team of specialist doctors.
However, Mr Azmal, his cousin and the son of Azhar’s sister, who was pillion riding, sustained serious injuries in the accident and later died in the hospital while undergoing treatment.
