The Movie Artistes Association (MAA) today served an ultimatum to top five heroines of Tollywood asking them to take MAA membership on or before October 1.

MAA president and senior actor Mr Murali Mohan told journalists in Hyderabad that they have issued notices to heroines Trisha, Samantha, Genelia, Tamanna and Nitya Menon setting October 1 as deadline for them to take MAA membership.

MAA has been asking all heroines and other artistes to take membership to avail facilities extended by the association. “We have been asking them to become members of MAA for a long time but they have been neglecting our requests,” said Murali Mohan, adding, that non-member artistes would not get any service from the association in solving their disputes in the industry.
