Centre must decide on T issue: Chandrababu

chandrababuAsserting that his party has already indicated its stand on the separate Telangana issue, TDP President Mr Chandrababu Naidu said it was the responsibility of the central government to take a decision on the vexed problem.

Addressing media persons after a meeting of the party leaders at NTR Trust Bhavan this evening in Hyderabad, Naidu said that the mass general strike was getting intensified day by day and the state and central governments must take the initiative for solving the issue immediately.

“Is it not the responsibility of the state and central governments to solve the issue when people are suffering due to the strike?” he asked journalists.

The former chief minister said that total anarchy has prevailed in the state as the administration has come to a standstill and ministers are not cooperating with the chief minister. “The MLAs and Ministers are not interested in solving the issues of the people. They are only trying to safeguard their political interests,” said Chandrababu Naidu.

He also said that his party has decided to undertake Jana Chaitanya Yatras from November 1to create awareness among the people.
