A 50-member batch of rowdy sheeters last night attacked a farm house on the outskirts of Hyderabad and made good their escape with 100 gm of gold and Rs.50,000 cash, a motor bicycle and a TV set from the house of watch man.

The gang, which disconnected the power supply to the farm house first, then entered the watchman’s house and threatened him with dire consequences if he didn’t give in. They also demolished all the constructions situated in the compound of the farm house with cranes and heavy JCB machines.

Later, the group took the watchman and his family members with them in their vehicles and left them at Santosh Nagar in the wee hours.

The Shamshabad police have registered a criminal case against the unidentified miscreants based on a complaint by the watchman and his family.
