Movie Artistes Association (MAA) today warned the non-member actors and actresses to be ready to face a ban if they fail to become members of the organization before December.

MAA president Mr Muralimohan told a news conference in Hyderabad that non-members would either face a ban or boycott after December. “We have issued notices one month ago and only a few actors and actresses have responded but most of them are yet to respond,” he said.

The MAA has already imposed a ban on top heroine Genelia as she has reportedly refused to take the membership.

Muralimohan said they have issued notices to non-members again and have requested them to respond before December. “If they fail to respond, they will be banned or they will face boycott,” he warned.
