Bollywood actors Ritesh Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza will tie the nuptial knot in 2012.  This was confirmed through a message on Twitter by Genelia.

Genelia tweeted saying it would be an exciting new chapter in their lives. She promised to make their lives beautiful with all the wishes and blessings of fans and others. “All your wishes and blessing are special for Riteish and me,” she tweeted.

Wishes are also pouring in for the couple in abundance. Filmmaker Karan Johar tweeted saying he was thrilled about the upcoming wedding and said Riteish and Genelia make an absolutely wonderful couple.

Actor Arjun Rampal tweeted wishing the prospective couple and said it was time for real celebrations. Actors Siddharth and Amrita Rao and celebrated photographer Atul Kasbekar also tweeted congratulating the couple.

While Siddharth said he was thrilled as Genelia was like his family member and Riteish was a treasure, Amrita Rao wished them asking to balance their professional and personal life.

Riteish and Genelia became friends and started seeing each other during the sets of debut film ‘Tujhe Meri Kasam’ in 2003. Riteish, son of former Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh, recently announced their wedding will take place in 2012.
