Ahead of their engagement tomorrow, Tollywood hero Ram Charan Teja and his childhood friend Upasana Kamineni today offered prayers in the temples on the campus of Apollo Hospital at Film Nagar in Hyderabad and sought the blessings of the Almighty.
The elders of both families also participated in the Puja programme and blessed the young couple.
The engagement function will be held between 7 and 8 pm at the Temple Tree Farmhouse near Moinabad on Thursday on the outskirts of Hyderabad and a host of dignitaries will attend the star-studded event.
The engagement function will be followed by a musical extravaganza and a sumptuous dinner.
Reports said the arrangements for the engagement function have already begun on a grand note with the event management and private security personnel taking over the venue.
Access to the function will be limited to the near relatives and close allies of the two families going by the invitations extended. A few VIPs like the Governor ESL Narasimhan and his wife, Chief Minister Kirankumar Reddy, PCC chief Mr Botsa Satyanarayana, Bollywood Big B Amitabh Bachchan, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, top Tollywood figures and the like will be gracing the function.
